Job Description:

75MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NOLOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that area aware of theirsubmission to our facility. Please notetime off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be consideredfor approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not beapproved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (onemust be from current manager), a resume, and completed skillschecklist/competency assessment.

13weeks assignment with minimum 2 years experience current required in Med/Surg/Teleor Progressive Care unit required; ICU Experience also preferred and a plus.Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Positionwill float to other areas - most likely ICU - as needed but will only berequired to perform skills within scope of practice . Will floatto ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.

CERTS: BLS, ACLS and NIHSScertification required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American HeartAssociation, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMRexperience preferred. Travelermust provide current Cardiac Arrhythmia prior to assignment.

SHIFTS: 12 hour Variedposition. Traveler will mainly be Med-Surg/Tele but will also have to float toICU when needed. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill departmentstaffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers arefirst to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanentassigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or sameshifts.

ORIENTATION: 1st week of thecontract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

SCRUBS: RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top,pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.

2. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. 3. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
