Job description

BlueHalo is looking for a Plans Policy Futures Support Analyst to join our team in support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) mission. You will play a crucial role in empowering the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) efforts, ensuring superiority in positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT). Your expertise will help shape policies and strategies that inform combatant commanders and joint force commanders on planning and conducting NAVWAR operations. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and develop policies and strategies that enhance NAVWAR capabilities, focusing on both current and emerging threats. Conduct comprehensive assessments of regional and global threat environments to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate existing and future operational plans, providing insights and recommendations. Utilize analytical tools to identify risks, gaps, and vulnerabilities within current NAVWAR policies and operations. Develop and present detailed reports and briefings on policy implications, future trends, and technological advancements in NAVWAR. Support the integration of new technologies and methodologies into NAVWAR strategies and operations. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on policy changes and emerging challenges in the NAVWAR domain. Ensure coordination with higher headquarters, the Intelligence Community, Allies, and Partner Nations to align strategies and policies. May require CONUS/OCONUS travel and shift work to support operations, exercises, and conferences. Qualifications: Eligible and willing to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in policy analysis, strategic planning, or military operations. Strong understanding of DoD policies, regulations, and processes related to NAVWAR and PNT operations. Experience conducting assessments and analysis in a deployed environment is preferred. BA/BS in Business, Strategy, International Relations, Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of a military Intermediate Level Education (ILE) course (e.g., Army Command and General Staff College or equivalent). Graduate of a Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) course (e.g., Naval Command and Staff or equivalent). Experience working with military and civilian agencies in policy development and strategic planning contexts.
