We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time, Plant Operations Supervisor to join our Maintenance department. As the Plant Operations Supervisor, you will plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of the Plant Operations and Maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, H.V.A.C., mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds of the facility in an operative and safe working condition. The Plant Operations Supervisor is responsible for all trades needed to expedite daily activities of the Department including but not limited to: groundskeeper, security service, all maintenance technician levels, lead person, clerical support, outside vendors, contractors, consultants, and architects. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.

Competencies:

Operates and maintains physical plant equipment (i.e.: boilers, etc.) and has a strong knowledge of Christian Health's energy management system.

Ability to troubleshoot and maintain HVAC of MBS equipment.

Assists groundskeepers.

Reports safety deficiencies to Plant Operation Managers.

Performs Preventative Maintenance.

Accurately estimates and orders materials.

Provides leadership to complete projects utilizing a project team.

Supervises Maintenance Technicians.

Maintains daily walk through logs for all Campus.

Conducts rounds to detect safety and mechanical issues/concerns.

Conducts electrical and refrigeration system checks.

Assumes in Charge status when managers are not available.

Delegates daily work orders and other tasks as they develop.

Utilizes computer and TMS-Four Rivers to receive work requests, as well as e-mails.

Coordinates with Nursing and Materials Management for ordering of medical equipment replacement parts.

Assist with survey readiness of documentation DOH/TJC/CMS survey or other regulatory agency inspection.

Works on snow removal operations.

Demonstrates a strong knowledge in Electrical Trade.

Schedule:

Full-Time, 7:00am-3:00pm Monday - Friday and Every Other Weekend.

On-call required once a month. The on-call schedule is working Friday until the following Friday from 4:00pm - 6:00am. If an on- call schedule falls on a vacation it is required to work that vacation.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrates compliance with the CHCC ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Qualifications:

3 years of supervisor experience.

3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician and demonstrates proficiency in one construction trade.

Experience with HVAC equipment, electrical, plumbing required.

Valid CDL Driver's License.

New Jersey Black Seal Low Pressure Boiler License required.

Computer literate.

Familiar with OSHA Regulations.

Familiar with N.F.P.A. article 700 Emergency Systems.
