Volt is immediately hiring for a Machine Operators in Wharton, NJ.

As a Machine Operator you will:

  • Read job specifications to adjust machines and determine material needs.
  • Set stops or guides to specific lengths using scales, rules, or templates.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Inspect products for quality and consistency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines.
  • Safely load product onto and unload product from faltbeds and box trailers using forklifts.
  • Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.


This is a Full-time opportunity. 1stShift available 6:00am to 4:30pm

The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or GED, or at least one month of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift Certification or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Occasionally required to lift over 65 lbs. with team assistance or equipment.
  • Capable of performing physical activities such as bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching.

Pay Rate: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
