Weygandt Selections is a family-owned fine wine importer of over 35 years. With offices in Pennsylvania and New York City (Flatiron district), we work with a network of distributors in over 30 states, and are a direct distributor in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Beginning with a focus on Burgundy, our portfolio has grown to include producers from all major regions from France, as well as covering Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sakartvelo (Georgia), and the US.

A sampling of our portfolio includes: Domaine Chermette, Domaine St. Damien, Thierry Glantenay, Daniel Bouland, Domaine Gauby, Domaine Charvin, FX Pichler, Franz Hirtzberger, and Les Granges Paquenesses.

Eschewing traditional sales targets, we run a small, specialized, and self-reliant sales team that emphasizes imparting enthusiasm and knowledge of the family-run estates we represent - in short, sharing with our customers a story and a passion behind our growers' wines. Team collaboration, sharing insights, and tasting wines of prospective producers together are keys to our success and growth.

Our current opening is for a sales rep covering New Jersey. The territory includes a number of active on-premise and off-premise accounts. In addition to a guaranteed starting base salary and commission, we also provide a monthly business expense stipend, bonus incentives and paid international travel opportunities. Health benefits and annual fixed-rate contributions on a retirement savings plan are available.

The ideal candidate will have both experience and developed relationships in the greater New Jersey (i.e. you do not have to be based in Jersey City) retail and restaurant markets, but all relevant resumes will be considered. Selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, developing new business opportunities, and delivering on outlined areas of sales expectations.

Starting compensation commensurate with experience, followed by a competitive commission structure.
