We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Network Engineer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable and highly-available networks

Daily administration and monitoring of routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, LAN/DMZs, DNS, DHCP, ACLs

Work with security team to implement security policy or deploy security systems pertaining to the network

Respond to incidents and outages

Physical maintenance of equipment

Manage all telecommunication circuits

Identify network issues and recommend appropriate solutions

Develop and maintain documentation

Proactively ensure that the network can scale to accommodate company growth and deployment of new products and services by staying current with industry trends and technology

Requirements

Qualifications

8 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise networks

Advanced knowledge of BGP and OSPF in a multi-site, multi-ISP environment

Experience with Cisco ASR router & IOS, SNMP, Nagios, HSRP

Expert knowledge of subnetting and IPv6

Working knowledge of fiber and transceivers

Competence with coding or scripting language

Experience with onboarding, offboarding and managing of transit providers or internet exchanges

Nice to Have

Experience with Extreme Networks switching

Background in Linux or Windows systems administration

Knowledge of RIRs and ROA/IRRs
