We seek an experienced Facility Security Officerto serve as part of ACI's corporate staff. Position Description: The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for and will manage all facility and personnel clearances for Augustine Constulting, Inc. (ACI). This position requires active management and collaboration across the staff and line personnel to assist and advise Directors, Program Managers, and Corporate Staff on all facets of personnel and physical security. This person must exercise exceptional judgment and possess strong skills in problem-solving, communications, collaboration, indirect leadership, and a demonstrated willingness to learn. This position reports to the President of ACI. A Successful Facility Security Officer at ACI Will: Establish business relationships with internal team members and external contacts, including prime contractor and subcontractor security managers. Initiate, process, track, and manage all personnel security clearances. Manage and maintain facility security requirements in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM). Develops, tracks, and updates all personnel security reports for company and program leadership. Performs environmental scans and disseminates critical security information to the company to assist in the prevention of insider and external threats. Manages all industrial security matters within National Industrial Security System (NISS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services Agency Portal (NBIS) or other department or agency system. Perform other related duties as assigned by manager. This individual will possess a high degree of personal integrity, good written and mathematical aptitude, the ability to analyze business issues, and the skills to solve problems efficiently. In addition, this individual will interact with people, computers and business systems in an effective manner. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in any field or a physical Security Program (PSYSEC), Center for Development of Security Excellence (DCSE), or Physical Security Profession (PSP) certificate is preferred. Successful applicants will be strongly encouraged to achieve one or more of these certifications during their tenure at ACI. 5+ years of related experience (Government experience preferred) managing personnel and facility clearances. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance (minumum of Secret required to apply). Detailed working knowledge of the NISPOM and Federal Acquisiton Regulation (FAR). Demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Teams). Advanced Excel proficiency expected. Proven analytic, organization and problem-solving skills to support sound decision making. Proven ability working independently or as part of a team with tight deadlines. Possess the ability to assess, interpret, and render judgements under limited direct supervision. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
