KDS Job ID Koniag Data Solutions, LLC,a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Security Analyst with a Secret clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. This is a Hybrid remote opportunity. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the Security Director in the development and implementation of personnel security policy and establish operational framework for the Personnel Security and Suitability Program. They will provide support in the areas of personnel, industrial, and information security, as well as foreign disclosure. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: Support development of Security Administration plans for major Army Acquisition programs Develop, review, interpret, and maintain policy, process, and Standard Operating Procedure document drafts Provide guidance and advisory services on security related issues, to include foreign disclosure Track Periodic Reinvestigation requirements, and support the process for military and civilian personnel Maintain Security Classification Guides (SCGs) Coordinate Critical Program Information (CPI) Assessments Assist as the Foreign Disclosure representative Review and staff all Request for Visit Authorizations, and administer Escort Officer briefings for international visits Obtain and maintain access to security systems, various security sites and databases used for the management of security clearances for JPEO personnel Review of requests for security clearances and assist with the identification of access requirements Prepare and provide initial and refresher security training and security debriefings as required Review and certification of system access requests for JPEO A&A personnel Process visits requests utilizing the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or successor system. Receive and validate clearances for visiting personnel. Prepare access rosters and verify security clearances for personnel attending classified meetings. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 10+ years security experience in processing requirements for restricted areas, personnel, information, industrial security, foreign disclosure, research and technology protection, training, and security education program management. Ability to maintain an active Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree from an accredited University Military experience preferred. Must have worked in the US for the past 2 years. Experience working in a highly collaborative environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
