Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Kennesaw, GA, Atlanta, GA, Chandler, AZ, and Richmond, VA. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Partner with leadership and peer teams to drive process improvements, socialization and timely action to support mitigation of existing process gaps

Drive collaboration with teammates across organizations and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve processes and controls across technology for issue management

Oversight and governance of software products/applications and their ability to maintain compliance with required work tasks

Frequent escalation communications, reporting and outlier meeting routines that may include executive leadership

Maintaining progress mileposts

Drives timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input and when to act independently

Communicate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise language suited for various audiences

Requirements:

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to coordinate across multiple groups, socialization across a matrix org

Documentation and project management skills

Self-starter, follows through, does not shy away from confrontation or engagement with more senior resources

Ability to update/manage procedures and produce executive ready documentation/overviews

Proven time management and organizational skills

Demonstrates accountability and ownership

Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate others

Ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations

Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Proven ability to execute with accuracy, precision, and attention to detail

Proactive approach - ability to connect the dots, look across, and a love of problem-solving

Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global environment; ability to drive routines, projects and programs with a track record of successful execution/change

Demonstrated understanding of the importance of business ethics

Desired Skills:

Experience in a business controls or Risk Management role

Subject matter knowledge in technology and/or information security processes

Prior business process/project management or control framework knowledge

Familiarity with JIRA and Agile framework

Pay Range: $55.15-$63.15
