Work You Will Do:
The Sr. Program Manager will play a critical role in leading complex projects and initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry. You will manage program strategy, execution, and cross-functional team coordination, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions that meet business and compliance needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in pharmaceutical safety or adverse event reporting, although this is not mandatory. You will work with senior stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables and provide regular updates on project progress and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver program objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity on project status, risks, and dependencies.
Facilitate project risk management, issue resolution, and change management processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process.
Collaborate with pharmacovigilance and safety teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Act as a mentor and advisor to junior project management staff, sharing best practices and guiding professional development.
Role Summary:
The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects within the pharmaceutical safety or regulatory domains. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to navigate the complexities of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing programs that involve pharmacovigilance, adverse event reporting, or safety monitoring systems. You will serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable project plans and driving successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in project or program management within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Experience with pharmacovigilance, safety monitoring, or adverse event reporting is a plus.
Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional projects with competing priorities.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
