Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center is seeking a reliable and responsible Aftercare Supervisor to join our team. As an Aftercare Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the after-school program for our students. You will ensure the safety and well-being of the children, coordinate activities, and manage staff. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a passion for creating a positive and engaging after-school environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise the preschool aftercare program for students

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program

Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum

Coordinate and manage staff schedules

Train and provide guidance to aftercare staff

Maintain communication with parents/guardians

Manage daily attendance and sign-in/out procedures

Handle discipline and behavior management, following center policies and procedures

Supervise outdoor play and other recreational activities

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the aftercare area

Collaborate with the Site Manager and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the aftercare program

Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings as required

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with Child Development Associate Credential in Preschool Setting

5+ years experience working with young children, including children with disabilities

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Ability to manage and supervise staff

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

Ability to handle discipline and behavior management

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass background checks
