TITLE: Inventory Agent LOCATION: Mount Laurel, NJ EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site POSITION SUMMARY EWA Government Systems Inc. (GSI) is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Inventory Agent to join our team in Mount Laurel, NJ. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with the purchasing and inventory teams to receive, organize, and manage materials, ensuring program readiness and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy. You will also assist the Purchasing Specialist in releasing authorized parts for assembly, contributing to the seamless flow and success of our programs. RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to): Oversee incoming stock, following the established receiving processes to ensure accuracy and readiness for inventory.
Conduct thorough inspections of received parts and materials, verifying part numbers, revisions, and physical condition, and cross-referencing invoices for accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to support efficient daily operations and a positive workspace.
Collaborate with the Production Manager to provide timely inventory status updates, supporting production schedules and special project needs.
Assist the Purchasing Specialist with daily inventory management tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate stock levels.
Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives as needed, contributing to process enhancements and operational efficiency. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree in a relevant field -OR- 5+ years of experience in inventory management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Skilled at multitasking and managing multiple responsibilities. PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with microprocessors, radar systems, radio frequency (RF) technology, circuit board electronics, and other electronic components or related technologies.
Familiar with Costpoint, JAMIS, or other ERP systems.
