ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to support the continued development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ. The candidate should possess: Expertise in reviewing Unix and Legacy programs and systems for multiple run-time environments. Ability to plan and implement methods for process improvement and trouble-shooting technical issues. Ability to create and evaluate corrective action reports Ability to interface with internal/external customers to resolve quality issues. Ability to participate and lead in Process Evaluations. Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance 2-4 years' related experience Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, VAX, and Windows Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word Working knowledge of ClearCase/ClearQuest or equivalent Source Code Management System a plus Working knowledge of Starsys or similar Status Accounting and Tracking System Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, good problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to communicate clearly and maintain good working relationship with peers and Customers of all technical levels. Specific experience supporting Naval Weapon Systems a plus.
