Strong interpersonal skills Job Duties Quality Innovative Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Engineering Support Services (ESS) team of qualified, diverse engineering professionals. This position will be located in Mount Laurel, NJ where Technology and Teamwork come together! The qualified candidate will provide Engineering and Technical support to the System Engineering Task and will join with an integrated team of engineers, technologists and military veterans dedicated to providing independent quality assessments of developmental computer programs critical to the defense of the United States and Foreign Military Sales.
Candidate's primary role will involve support of the U.S. Navy AEGIS TECHREP customer at the Radar/SPY and Weapon Control Systems (WCS) Product level and in various technical aspects involving the integration of the AEGIS Weapon System with Ballistic Missile Defense functionality in an AEGIS Combat System environment that will feature customer support with AEGIS program development to include:
Review of technical specifications and related documents to ensure technical accuracy and applicability; participate, witness, and assessment of tests conducted by the program developer our ESS Test & Evaluation team and / or other Government agencies often working alongside the U.S. AEGIS Navy TECHREP customer at a Product level. Support test development, implementation and execution in Combat Computer System Test Environments
Conduct specification requirement reviews and perform test data analysis; analyze and document observed test anomalies and deficiencies; track problem resolutions; and support meetings and report out criteria Candidate must possess excellent oral and written skills and be able to work independently when required. At times, flexibility is needed to support short notice testing and / or task to support a Project. Generally, work hours are standard, but some second and / or third shift hours will be required. Little or no travel is expected, but willingness to travel in support of emergent customer needs is required.
