Certified Nurse Midwife opening near New York CityLocated in Denville, NJ - NYC 30mFull Time; PermanentEmployedResponsibilities:- The Certified Midwife functions as a liaison for the clinic; interfacing with patient, family, physicians and other ancillary departments while providing oversight for the patient- This includes the initial intake, social service assessment, physical assessment, review of lab and diagnostics, nutritional assessment , education, genetic screening, education, plan of care, financial assistance and all prenatal and follow up visits- The person will facilitate patient navigation through all phases of the pregnancy working with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure excellence in clinical outcomes, quality of care, and patient safety- He/she will cultivate relationships and acts as a liaison between the physician, nursing, ancillary staff, patients and their families to promote customer satisfactionQualifications:- Current and Valid Advanced Practice RN NJ License- Current and Valid Certified Nurse Midwife Certification- BLS upon hire and maintained current- Two years experience as an ANP preferred- Minimum of 5 years experience in Maternal Child Health- Prenatal Clinic experience preferred- MSN with specialization in ANP in Womens HealthDenville, New Jersey, nestled in Morris County, offers residents a tranquil suburban retreat with easy access to the bustling metropolis of New York City.
