Overview

The Associate Director will be a key member of the Corporate Controller's organization. The Associate Director, Global Consolidations and Reporting will be responsible for Consolidations and the Intercompany processes. The Associate Director will also be responsible for the timely completion of monthly financial closing and management reporting; partnering in the preparation and review and quarterly filings (10-Q and 10-K), satisfying internal and external audit requests, and preparing and maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to partner globally with their international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly consolidation/close activities, including allocations and intercompany processing, to generate consolidated financial statements
  • Ensure all global results are accurately and properly consolidated in the Company's financial statements, including the balance sheets, income statements, cash flows and shareholder's equity
  • Create, reconcile and eliminate intercompany and investment in subsidiary transactions
  • Review reasonableness of FX translations and provide non-GAAP analysis excluding FX impacts
  • Collaborate with the Director, Technical Accounting on technical accounting matters and disclosure requirements
  • Participate in the preparation and/or review of external filings
  • Prepare monthly management financial reporting deliverables
  • Prepare GL reconciliations for intercompany accounts and review account reconciliations of others
  • Document SOX process flows and SOPs regarding consolidation and intercompany processes to ensure knowledge and aid in development of future staff
  • Participate in quarterly system (Oracle Cloud) update testing and assist in drive for enhanced financial tools that will scale with the company
  • Identify different ways to improve our monthly close process and work on global policies and procedures guide
  • Perform flux analysis over consolidated and consolidating financial statements
  • Support external auditor requests and analysis as well as ad hoc analysis
  • Prepare and manage monthly close calendar
  • Diligently perform duties with a controls-based mindset
  • Assume new responsibilities and perform ad hoc requests as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA required
  • 6+ years accounting experience in a public accounting and public company setting is preferred
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet regular and critical deadline
  • Ability to contribute to and work within a cross-functional team
  • Must possess the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and culturally diverse workplace environment
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. Excel financial modeling skills are a plus
  • Oracle Cloud, Workiva (w-desk), EPM, and Blackline experience a plus

Travel approx 10%

Salary Range

$139,000 - $195,200 a year
