Location: Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada
S2Technologies is currently sourcing for qualified candidates to join our team. We are currently looking for candidates who have training and experience performing as a Special Operations Forces (SOF) Analyst. The qualified candidate shall perform the following tasks: Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations of service deployment certification events, or prerequisite training considered critical and mandatory before deployment to support a Combatant Command (CCMD). Support includes research on electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) issues, obtain relevant DOD documents, conduct studies and report the results thereof, analyze options, and develop specified documentation to assist in effectively and efficiently carrying out the JCER mission. Assist with applying scientific methods and techniques, evaluation planning, coordinating specifications related to computer software use cases and software demonstrations, operations research and systems analysis, program management expertise, and an understanding of multi-service and Joint doctrine and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to address the JCER focus areas.
Experience: • Conduct tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats to joint operations.
• Conduct studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity.
• Work with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection, reduction, or JEMSO operations.
• Experience at the tactical and operational level with EMS; communications equipment, and non-kinetic effects planning execution, and evaluation processes.
• Developing detailed mission analysis and integration of resources to determine capabilities to meet mission requirements.
• Understanding of current SOF capabilities across all activities (direct action, special reconnaissance, countering weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, hostage rescue and recovery, counterinsurgency, foreign humanitarian assistance, military information support operations, and civil affairs operations) with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO in order to make recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JCER evaluations. Education: • At least eight (8) years of demonstrated relevant experience in Special Operations expertise in air, land, and sea/naval special operations and combat systems. Certifications: • n/a Security Clearance: • United States citizen
• TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI, SAP, and SAR accesses. An Interim TS may be acceptable with approval from the JCER Director.
