Overview
Creighton University - CHI Health Otolaryngology Department Chair Creighton University Medical Center CHI Health seeks to recruit a visionary leader to serve as the Chair of Otolaryngology and expand our clinical, research, and educational activities.
The selected leader will j oin a growing group of academic surgeons encompassing a wide breadth of otolaryngology cases in the setting of a large established referral base within a wide reaching integrated health care system. This opportunity is ripe for an innovative leader to grow the Department of Otolaryngology in all of its domains in partnership with outstanding colleagues along with forward-thinking dynamic academic and business leadership.
This remarkable leadership opportunity builds on existing strengths including a cohesive Omaha metro-wide health care system with a large referral base of primary care providers, skull base program, expertise in vestibular disorders, collaborative opportunities with NIH-funded investigators in hearing and vestibular research. Additionally, it encompasses collaboration with sister programs in adult and pediatric head and neck programs including Nebraska Methodist Health System, Children's Nebraska & Boys Town National Research Hospital.
One primary expectation of this exciting new position is establishing a new ACGME-approved Otolaryngology residency program that will be a great opportunity for any visionary leader in the field of otolaryngology.
Candidates are expected to have a track record of scholarly and educational activities commensurate with an appointment at the level befitting an Associate Professor to full Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine.

- Working in a highly collaborative, academic, research and teaching environment educating Creighton University's ENT residents and medical students and conducting research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
