Audiologist

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a dedicated APP Audiologist to join our dynamic team, working closely with a diverse group of 14 physicians, including 2 Neurotologists. This role offers a busy clinical schedule, complemented by an exciting opportunity to engage in research activities. You will assist in securing grants, collaborate with our Otologist on funding proposals, and contribute to groundbreaking research initiatives. Join a supportive team of 4 other Audiologists and make a meaningful impact in the field of audiology!

Location: Lauritzen Outpatient Center Nebraska Medicine Omaha, NE

Shift Details:

Full-time, 1.0 FTE

Monday - Friday

8am - 4:30pm (Exempt)

No nights, weekends, holidays, or on call

Duties: Audiologist

Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage hearing loss and balance disorders in adults and children.

Required Qualifications: Audiologist
• Doctoral degree in audiology, or Master's degree will be grandfathered if obtained prior to 2007, required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Excellent organizational skills (e.g., ability to multi-task and prioritize, attention to detail and time management skills) required.
• Excellent patient service skills putting the needs of the patient first required.
• Current Nebraska state license to practice audiology required.

Preferred Qualifications: Audiologist
• Experience working in a physician's office preferred.
• Current Nebraska state hearing aid dispensing license preferred.
• American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification preferred.

NOTE: This position will not be required to complete an assessment at time of application.
