Job Summary

This position will be the primary contact for existing Advisor relationships to sell new plans with RPC and will (more importantly) work to find new Advisor relationships within their territory, East Coast.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sell New Retirement Plans: Utilize RPC's Recordkeeping and Third Party Administration services to effectively sell new retirement plans.
  • Upsell Fiduciary Services: Promote Wealth Management Nebraska's 3(38) Fiduciary Investment Management services to existing clients.
  • Manage Relationships: Maintain and strengthen relationships with current Advisors in your territory.
  • Develop New Relationships: Identify and build connections with new Financial Advisors, focusing on developing and recruiting new RIA firm channels.
  • Maintain CRM Software: Ensure all activities are documented accurately in the CRM software.
  • Selling New Plans:
    • Develop Proposals: Create comprehensive proposals tailored to client needs.
    • Design Plan Illustrations: Develop new plan design illustrations to showcase potential benefits.
    • Review Plan Provisions: Analyze and review current plan provisions to identify areas for improvement.
    • Educate Advisors and Plan Sponsors: Provide education on recommended changes to Advisors and Plan Sponsors.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
  • Series 65 Certification: Must possess a Series 65 certification.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Versatile Plan Management: Ability to work with various plan types, including 401(k), 403(b), and others.
  • Exceptional Relationship Building: Exhibit exceptional skills in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Utilize strong analytical capabilities for advanced problem-solving.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across different functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Develop trusted relationships and find creative solutions to challenges.
  • Retirement Plan Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of employer-sponsored retirement plans.
