Overview JOB TITLE: Quality Control Manager GOVERNMENT AGENCY : DHS USCIS Federal Contractor Position POSITION INFORMATION : Full-Time Position LOCATION: Lincoln, NE BENEFITS: Health, Dental and Vision, 401(k), Paid Federal Holidays, PTO ITC Federal is an information technology and consulting company focused on servicing the needs of the Federal Government. Responsibilities The Quality Control Manager is located at the Nebraska Service Center and will oversee quality operations. They will develop and implement a qualitative and quantitative metrics program to objectively and empirically evaluate project progress against benchmarks and deliverables. The QC Manager creates, supervises, and maintains Quality Management policies and procedures by project standard requirements. They are responsible for refining inspection procedures for all areas of the contract. Maintains an audit schedule, and performs audits of procedures, reporting requirements, plans, programs and records. They will lead workplace safety through prevention, instruction, and random inspection and monitor for contract compliance, monitors risk and contributes suggestions for risk mitigation Qualifications THE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Three (3) years of experience in managing quality control operations obtained within the last five (5) years High School Diploma, required Ability to obtain a USCIS government security clearance Certifications in six sigma quality improvement or lean quality improvement are required; Quality Certifications from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) will be considered equal to lean or six sigma; Can consider candidate if they are willing to obtain the certification with 6 months of hire Success in preparing and monitoring internal procedures for adherence to Government regulations and policies and coordinating operational and administrative actions Capability to provide operational and contract-specific financial information; as both scheduled and ad-hoc deliverables Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
