Town and Country Supply Association is looking to hire a dynamic Retail Division Manager to join our company. In this role, your duties include supervising the retail division's staff to ensure daily targets are met, ensuring that all work is completed in line with division procedures and policies, and reporting any work-related issues to management.
To ensure success as a Retail Division Manager, you should have excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to identify division problems and solve them quickly and efficiently. Ultimately, a top-notch division manager should have a strong working knowledge of management best practices and the ability to motivate and support division personnel. The Retail Division Manager will be responsible for 12 locations between Laurel, MT and Hardin, MT with approximately 94 employees.
Duties and responsibilities
Monitor, evaluate and analyze monthly P&L statements with managers to identify strengths and weaknesses for improved performance
Coach and develop each manager to reach the fullest potential of sales and profitability at their location, celebrating successes
Instore marketing to drive volumes
Facility maintenance
Organizing, planning, and managing the daily tasks and operations of the division
Providing technical direction and professional support to division personnel
Ensuring that staff members comply with the policies and procedures of the division
Working with the financial department to plan and develop annual budgets
Reviewing office operations and reporting any issues to senior management
Working with the HR department to handle all inter-division disputes and conflicts
Promote communication throughout the Co-Op and communicate goals and standards of all
Maintain the highest levels of integrity and honesty inside and outside of the Co-Op leading by example
Act as the primary Co-Op representative to store managers and maintain regular contact to ensure continuity of operation.
Maintain Co-Op image standards to deliver a consistent and pleasant buying experience.
Requirements:Skills and Abilities
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn new software
Excellent knowledge of management best practices and strong managerial skills
Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Solid communication and team working skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
The ability to navigate stressful work situations
Ability to understand financial reports
Requirements
Must be able to pass background check, drug test and show proof of driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Report.
Full time position working 40+ hours a week. Driving between locations occasionally as needed.
This position is not Remote or Hybrid and requires attendance in our Laurel, MT location M-F 8am - 5pm
