The Maintenance Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operation and maintenance including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and assurance of safety. This position will also assist in other areas such as employee scheduling and providing backup to the General Manager.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Ensure smooth maintenance of all facility operations
  • Monitor and maintain safety standards
  • Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff and attendants
  • Manage the department's budget and oversee inventory control
  • Perform repairs of various systems and equipment

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to be a team leader
  • Good mechanical maintenance skills
  • Knowledgeable in end of shift closing regarding money
  • Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and diagrams
  • Knowledge of and proficient in the use and care of all hand and power tools
  • Basic grounds maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, IT skills and a basic knowledge of phone and operating systems
  • Basic understanding of HVAC and PTAC equipment functionality preferred
  • Experience replacing seals, bearings, pulleys, and drive belts
  • Familiar with building fire alarm/sprinkler systems
  • Ability to meet customer needs and provide necessary assistance
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to push/pull and lift up to 100 lb; bend, stoop, reach, climb, and stand for long periods
