Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with individuals, mainly pediatrics with an occasional adult, providing therapy services to address physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Responsibilities:

- Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
-Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in the patient's electronic chart.
- Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment
- Provide educational information about occupational therapy and occupational therapists and ways to promote health.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect clinic operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Meet with providers, community groups and other referral sources to build an increased caseload and source of referrals for OT.
- Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Pediatric experience preferred

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
