AWARE is looking for the right person to join the team as a residential night watch technician. The night watch shift is scheduled late evening hours and into the morning.

Responsibilities:

  • While under direct supervision of the designated supervisor, performs routine duties for the protection, care, and supervision of adolescents.
  • Administers assessment instruments and assist in the development of training programs for persons with mental health disabilities, with the goal of achieving maximum independence.
  • Focuses on assisting in training programs that centers on basic living skills, independent living skills, vocational skills, and academic skills, utilizing AWARE's Wraparound philosophy.

Excited to join our organization? AWARE's residential night watch technicians earn $17.00 - $18.86 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour stipend for shifts between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities:
  • Computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and overall basic computer skills needed for performance-based software as well as an electronic medical records system.
  • Interpersonal oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, to make observations and to report them accurately, to learn resident care methods, and to follow oral and written instructions.
  • High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience.
  • A valid Montana Driver's License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record.
  • An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
