For a comprehensive list of benefits, please click here: Benefits CoxHealth Job Summary A Certified Mastectomy Fitter is a specifically trained and qualified employee that completes prefabricated mastectomy and orthotic device fittings and set ups with Home Support patients based on a physician's order and the patient's needs. This includes the education of the proper and safe use of the mastectomy and orthotic devices to the patient. This employee will also be responsible for inventory management, referral intake process and loading the patient into Home Support's IT software system (CPR+). Job Requirements Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Associates Degree in a Related Field Experience No Prior Experience Required Skills Understanding of medical terminology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates competency in proper use of computer software, office equipment and other specialized equipment (i.e.: hand held scanners) Markets and represents Home Support in a positive and professional manner at all times. Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with internal and external customers. Ability to multitask and handle high stress situations. Ability to work effectively as a team member Effective at time management, organizing and planning Licensure/Certification/Registration Preferred: Certification as a Certified Orthotics Fitter or Certified Mastectomy Fitter from BOC (Board of Certification/Accreditation) or Certified Fitter - Orthotics or Certified Fitter - Mastectomy from ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc.)
