Job description

North Point Technology is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared System Administrator to support a critical mission. This program requires employees pass a CI Poly every 5 years. If you have a Full Scope Poly, working this program will keep your Full Scope ACTIVE. This position is part-time, on-site. Primary Responsibilities: Provide support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud migration on multiple security domains Coordinate maintenance and deployment downtimes. Perform patching and system deployments. Support Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in obtaining Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 security accreditation Seek software approvals, and document installation procedures for supported systems Provide support for: Configuration Management (CM) tools, including JIRA, and Confluence Certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) on Linux and Windows systems Large collection of data organized for rapid search and retrieval (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.) Updates Customer/User Interface Basic Qualifications: Current TS/SCI active TS/SCI with Polygraph. US citizenship is required per contract. Security + certification. Experience working as a System Administrator for Linux and Windows systems. Basic knowledge/experience with Windows 10 and/or 11 workstations, and/or Windows Server 2016 and/or 2019 systems. Experience working with Microsoft System Administration including lodging scripting, Group Policy objects (GPO's) and Windows servers roles including DHCP, DNS and active directory. Experience with Python, and the package installer Pip. Knowledge of essentials for IT security and security administration. Experience with maintaining servers, storage devices and applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certification or experience with cloud computing web services providing distributed computing processing capacity and software tools via AWS server farms. Experience with maintaining servers, storage devices and applications. Experience with Windows system administration to include: Backup/restore Patching Image Implementation Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) Active Directory + Domain Name System (DNS) User account management Experience with RedHat Linux to include: System backup/restore RedHat Package Manager (RPM) installation/management User account management System image implementation Experience with Solaris Experience with Network-Attached Storage (NAS) to include NetApp filers Experience with McAfee to include: DAT file implementation ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) servers Experience with Citrix workstation images, and management servers Experience with Splunk Experience with VMware and Vcenter Experience addressing enterprise auditing requirements.
