Purpose of the position:

Talent Acquisition Advisors work inclusively with business groups to source and attract top talent across Canada and the United States. In this role you ll positively impact hiring by being inquisitive, focusing on strategy, and coordinating the recruitment process while providing expertise on job postings, interviews, compensation, and finding opportunities for improvement. This role would be a 12-month contract.

Position accountabilities:

Work with hiring team to understand position requirements, team dynamics, timelines, and other details critical to successfully filling the position Optimize job postings to ensure they are accurate to the responsibilities and use applicant tracking software (SuccessFactors) to post positions and progress candidates throughout the hiring process Develop sourcing and recruitment strategies incorporating LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruitment tools to attract top performers and support diversity, equity, and inclusion, early talent, veteran, and women in operations initiatives Screen candidates to validate candidates presented for consideration are viable and participate in interviews providing guidance on interview techniques and feedback on candidates Guide hiring team through the offer process providing compensation recommendations, coordinate pre-employment and then progressing candidates through the onboarding process

Skills: Position requirements:

Minimum three (3) years of recruiting experience High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence decision makers and provide world class hiring manager and candidate experience Upbeat self-starter with ability to respond quickly to change

Bachelor s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience, preferably in a job-related major field of study
