The Role: As a Program and Activity Coordinator, you will play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents through the development and implementation of creative and engaging programs and activities. You will collaborate with our dedicated team to create a vibrant and supportive community where residents can thrive.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, plan, and implement a diverse range of programs and activities tailored to the interests and preferences of our residents.
2. Coordinate with external vendors and community partners to offer specialized programs such as Zumba Gold, Music and Memories, and Rock Steady Boxing.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where residents feel empowered to participate and connect with one another.
4. Work closely with the Care team to ensure programs align with residents' physical, social, and emotional well-being.
5. Evaluate program effectiveness and solicit feedback from residents to continuously improve offerings.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in program coordination or recreational therapy, preferably in a senior living or similar setting.
2. Strong creativity and innovation skills with the ability to develop engaging programs for diverse audiences.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs and preferences of residents.
5. Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
