We are a leader in the Trauma-Informed Care Movement, and provide training, coaching and consulting to outside organizations. Job Description Work and train under medical supervision for a period of up to 1638 hours performing overnight polysomnograms and other complex procedures. Work in a busy Sleep Center while training closely with Registered Sleep Technologists physicians that are board certified in Sleep Medicine. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer knowledge. Maintain BCLS for continued employment. Must be enrolled in or have completed the A-STEP Online Self Study Modules. Non-registered technologists and technicians must complete A-STEP Online Self Study Modules within two years of enrollment. To progress to next level, must successfully complete all requirements for registry exam eligibility and successfully obtain registry in polysomnography within 24 months. Preferred Qualifications RPSGT/RST eligible, CNA, PCT/A, RMA, CMA , NRCMA or other BRPT Accepted Allied Health Credential One or more years of clinical experience with direct patient care. Experience in sleep data collection, CPAP titration and scoring and stage recognition. MSLT and MWT experience Working at University Health is about making a difference.
