Breast Surgery opening in Joplin, MO- Full-time, permanent position- Employed- Must be Breast Fellowship trained- Work in a collegial environment with Medical Oncology, Breast Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Infusion Therapy, Diagnostics (PET/CT), Social Work, Nutrition, Chaplin, Dieticians, Cancer-Dedicated research RNs, Support Groups and more- 100% Breast Surgery Practice- No General Surgery or ER call- Fully accredited by the Commission on Cancer- Plastic Surgery available for immediate reconstruction- Very limited trained breast surgeons in our service area, quick ramp up period- EMR is EPIC- Opportunity to teach medical students and stipends awardedThis position offers:- Integrated health system with a very aggressive guarantee and productive model to follow- Two-year income guarantee of $460K + $25K in recruitment incentives!- Significant recruitment incentives tailored to your needs including sign-on/commencement bonus, resident/fellow stipends- While on guarantee, 20 days PTO, 6 holidays, 5 days CME- Comprehensive, day one benefits including health, dental, vision and CME- Retirement plans available with employer contribution and matching options- Relocation package up to $10,000- Occurrence base malpractice insurance provided- As a not-for-profit system, Mercy qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)- This location is eligible H1B sponsorshipAbout Joplin:- Appreciate an excellent quality of life in Joplin, where a crossroads of culture lies tucked away in the beautiful Ozarks of Southwest Missouri- As the fourth-largest metropolitan area in the state, Joplin maintains the lowest cost of living and highest bang-for-your buck- Population of the Greater Joplin Area is 75,000 (flourishing to over 200,000 during the workday) Joplin serves as a hub of economic, health and cultural activity for multiple communities in the four-state area- Spend more time at home with no commute.
