Job description

Under the direction of the Communications Supervisor, is responsible for coordinating the efficient and effective operation of the Communications department to include the mailroom. Is responsible for assisting the Supervisor and Director with operating the department within the guidelines of the FTE budget, the operating budget and hospital policy.

EXPERIENCE: Two years of Communications/Dispatch/Switchboard experience. Attendant Console experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Good proficiency with Microsoft Office.

OTHER: Available to work within a 24/7/365 hospital on-call setting.

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent
