Department of Pediatrics - Pediatric Critical Care
Nurse Practitioner

Come join our life-saving team and support the care of critically ill children in our new PICU.

This position will provide medical care for patients in the PICU in collaboration with the pediatric critical care attending physicians. Help teach our medical students, residents, and nursing staff, perform numerous skilled procedures, and assist with the ventilator management of critically ill children admitted to the PICU. The individual in this role will also help develop the standard of nursing care / possible research activities as well as other duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Nursing is required.
  • A current RN license from the State of Missouri is required or ability to obtain one.
  • A current ARNP license from the State of Missouri is required or ability to obtain one.
  • National certification as NNP (national exam) is required.
  • Previous Pediatric Critical Care experience is preferred.
