Dallas County Family Medical Center is a busy rural Family Medicine, Behavioral Health and Walk In Clinic located in Buffalo, MO. We have 9 Primary Care Providers-2 being Family Med/OB, 8 Mental Health Providers and are staffed with 12 Licensed Nurses, 6 Medical Assistants and Licensed Social Worker. We offer laboratory and radiology services in the clinic and have 2 licensed Radiology Technicians. Job Description: We are currently looking for an LPN to join our Family Medicine team to work directly with a fantastic Nurse Practitioner. We see patients of all ages including newborns. We have two Physicians that see OB patients and deliver at CMH. We are open 9 am to 8 pm daily. Staff work Monday - Friday 8-4:30 with no weekends or holidays recognized by CMH. Providers and staff work closely and collaborate freely with one another. We have a great group that is positive and upbeat and really works together to meet the needs of our patients.

Job Duties: Nurses utilize an electronic medical record (Meditech Expanse) to document the patient intake, medication administration and procedures performed during the visit. During the intake, a full set of vital signs are obtained, patient history is reviewed, medications and allergies are reconciled, required screenings are completed and the patients history of present illness is obtained. Procedures that may be performed during the patient visit include medication administration either orally, by injection or nebulizer, vaccine administration, ear lavage, assistance with wound repair, application of dressings, splinting for fracture care, IV therapy (nurse only) and catheterization (nurse only), and recognition with swift response to medical emergencies. Between patients, the staff stock and clean exam rooms and call patients with test results or messages.

The position is: Full Time,Days

Monday - Friday, 8-4:30
No weekends or holidays
