Adelphi is seeking a Medical Director to provide overall coordination of all medical care at a long-term care facility in Harrison County, Mississippi (MS). Responsibilities: Oversee medical care to ensure high-quality resident care. Coordinate all medical care at the facility, ensuring seamless collaboration between attending physicians, therapists, and podiatrists. Review and oversee the credentialing and privileging process for medical staff. Serve as the primary advisor in patient care emergencies when the attending physician is unavailable. Participate in patient care consultations and serve on key committees. Assist the administrator in implementing recommendations from committee meetings. Provide clinical leadership and guidance to medical and nursing staff. Review performance of healthcare providers in the facility to ensure adherence to protocols. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Other duties as assigned by the facility's administration.
