Gpac has partnered with a nonprofit in Iowa! They are looking for their next Store Manager at locations of: South Dakota and Minnesota!

Job Summary for the Store Manager:

The Store Manager's focus is on exercising discretion in supervising, directing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and product quality, financial management/performance and managing safety within the store.The Store Manager will display initiative, effort, and commitment to carrying out the organization's mission; inspires, motivates, and guides others towards goals; and acts in proactive achievement-oriented manner. The Store Manager models the core values of compassion, achievement, potential, integrity, and dignity while working to develop the same values in all team members.

Qualifications Requirements for the Store Manager:

Educations and/or Experience of the Store Manager:

• Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred or

• High School diploma/GED in combination with 3 years work management experience in related field.

• Prefer profit and loss, sales, or cost management accountability experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Store Manager:

• Must have reliable transportation, valid driving license, and proof of vehicle insurance.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicated the English language to ensure understandable interaction with staff and customers.

• Must have strong interpersonal, communication, money handling, organizational and decision-making skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

FINANCIAL-

• Develop proficiency in understanding financial reports.

• Ensure effective and efficient store budget management including maintaining position control, achieving processing goals, generating revenue, and controlling expenses.

• Ensuring proper handling of cash through enforcement of cash register procedures and accurate and timely submission of proper reports (including daily paperwork, weekly reports, etc.).

Loss Prevention-

• Ensure that safety procedures are understood and followed by all staff and store employees.

• Ensure all loss prevention matters are reported, investigated, and corrected in a timely manner.

• Ensure proper operations of store security and safety systems including but not limited to: door locks, computers, surveillance equipment, alarms, office door, bank deposits, refunds, safe incident reports, and fire extinguishers.

Human Resources-

• Ensure that store reports, personnel status changes and other pertinent information are communicated accurately and in a timely manner.

• Evaluate the performance of all store personnel in a timely and fair manner.

• Effectively manage the assigned store to ensure proper adherence by store staff to policies and procedures through proper utilization of policy and procedures handbook.

• Ensure that the store is in compliance with organizational policies, CARF standards and safety and security regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: MEDIUM Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Frequently unloading trucks, walking, bending, standing.

Mental Demand: Problem Solving, dealing with stressful situations, decision making, communication with others, supervising, planning, organizing, writing, training, scheduling.

Work Environment: Moderate - Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
