Volt is immediately hiring a Remote-Medical Device-Quality Engineer in Maplewood with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
This is a first shift position.
As a Quality Engineer you will:

  • Lead quality assurance initiatives to drive key quality priorities for our product portfolio and our customers.
  • Execute equipment transfers and performing process validation activities
  • Collaborate with the cross functional teams and quality teams to develop and deploy quality systems, including risk management, change management, design controls, and test method development and validation.
  • Interact with global manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and support functions to ensure compliance to product performance claims and certifications, drive continuous improvement, prevent quality nonconformances, reduce variation in product and process, and achieve operational excellence in our value streams.
  • Foster a quality-focused environment and mindset throughout the business.

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2-4 years of engineering experience in medical device industry is required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher within a Science Discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
  • OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND 4 years of experience within a quality manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $64.88 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
