BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Investment Operation specialist for an opportunity in Saint Paul, MN!

Position Title: Investment Operation Specialist
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Anticipated Start Date: 10/03/2024

Expected Duration: 2+ Months
Job Type: Monday - Friday (100% Onsite)
Pay Range: $21/hr - $23.06/hr

Description:
Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Investment Operations.
Researches and resolves operational and/or accounting exceptions, some of which may involve extensive review.
Interfaces with Investment and other internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers.
Ensures the accuracy of account statements and information.
Verifies account entries, ensures total balance, and prepares correcting adjustments as needed.
Ensures that all documentation requirements are satisfied.
Responds to telephone or written inquiries and perform research necessitated by special requests from customers, brokers, or internal employees.

Help the Cash Control team with daily processing tasks, including opening, bundling, scanning live fee checks, opening, and logging checks, scanning imaging documents, prepping paperwork for third-party checks, submitting requests, creating customer correspondence, etc. Potential for assisting with balancing wash banks for daily balancing.

All checks must be opened and accounted for under dual control, and account numbers must be noted on each check before processing. The checks must be grouped into batches of twenty, as this is all that can be scanned in a single batch. We are also quickly approaching year-end where our Third-party Check volumes typically triple these are considered High Risk Transactions and require added due diligence for OFAC screening and BSA compliance. The contract resources would be used to help in transaction preparation and back end imagining ensuring transaction details are kept in a WORM-compliant environment.
