Salary Range: $35 - $45 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crane or Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of cranes and heavy equipment used in construction, transportation, and industrial operations. If you're passionate about troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring equipment runs smoothly, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:


  • Diagnose and repair cranes and heavy equipment, including but not limited to engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical systems, and braking systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues using manuals, electronic tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Keep detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance work performed.
  • Work with a variety of heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Link-Belt, Liebherr, and others.
  • Respond to emergency repair calls and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company and OSHA safety standards.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Crane or Heavy Equipment Mechanic (3 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of various diagnostic tools and software used for heavy equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites if needed.
  • Class A CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Certifications such as ASE, NCCCO, or OSHA safety training are a plus.
