Workday Financials/SCM Architect

What can you expect?

As a member of the Workday Readiness team, you will be responsible for driving Workday design and will play a key role leading the architect phase of Workday projects

As a Workday Architect, you will deliver services and prioritize decisions on cross-functional design in Workday

You will lead the collaboration of Workday leads and our global delivery team in the successful completion of the Workday design

You will assist with tasks such as build design strategy, documenting use cases, driving cross-functional decisions, leading prototype demonstrations, leading client workshops, and reviewing deliverables for accuracy and quality

You will use your leadership experience to anticipate client needs and build best-in-class solutions in Workday leveraging Mercers Transformation Services offerings

We will count on you to:

Manage design on multiple projects with Mercer clients, across varying business and functional units

Support the sales cycle of Workday opportunities by participating in RFP responses, solutioning, and presentations; and identify opportunities to position other Mercer service offerings with clients

Communicate effectively and be a good influencer with key stakeholders; this includes presenting at Executive Steering Committees with clients at the C-Suite level

Establish and monitor your areas of the project plan, including the setting of milestones and deadlines, in consultation with business users

Lead decision-making processes required to move projects along to completion and make agreed-upon progress on design and architecture

Proactively respond to changes in design scope and identify and assist the project manager in resolving issues, assessing the work plan direction versus the new input demands, and using change control process effectively

Identify project issue and risk items during the plan and architect phases and solution mitigation responses

What you need to have:

Experience leading global or complex-industry Workday implementations in a fast-paced, large multi-national organization

Minimum of 10 years project experience in Workday delivering full-life cycle Financials implementations

Bachelors degree in management information systems, finance/accounting, or related area or a minimum of 5 years Workday and 5 years other Financial/SCM systems experience delivering full-life cycle implementations

Must be self-motivated and able to lead and motivate a team; must have exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences; and must have exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Current Workday Financials certification

Experience as a leader in IT, Finance, or Operations driving transformation at large organizations

Experience in implementing Workday and other Financials/SCM systems as a consultant

The applicable base salary range for this role is $111,600 to $223,200.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
