The General Contracting team has successful experience in new construction and renovation of federal, healthcare, mission critical, industrial, and civil type projects. These projects have included both design/build and design/bid/build contract strategies.

Description

  • 100% Travel (can be anywhere in the U.S. - project durations are typically 18 months to 2 years. Travel home every other weekend)
  • Run/manage project from start to finish
  • Oversee full construction project on a daily bases
  • Coordinate to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
  • Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
  • Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

Profile

  • Degree in construction management or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in construction field management/supervision
  • Experience in the construction of federal projects is preferred, and work for the VA is fantastic!
  • Partnership approach to working with contractors, designers and clients
  • MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills
  • Proficient in MS Project Scheduling
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team
  • Self-motivation with good time management skills
  • Travel is required

Job Offer

  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $180,000, dependent on experience
  • Bonus
  • (3) Weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Car Allowance
  • $3,000 - $7,000 per diem dependent on state
  • Home at least once a month
