Company Overview: Join a well-established and highly respected custom home builder in Minneapolis with 29 years of experience. Renowned for quality craftsmanship, innovative designs, and cutting-edge homebuilding techniques. We are known for working on exciting and challenging projects while maintaining a healthy work-life balance for our team. Due to high demand, we're expanding and looking for a motivated Purchasing Agent to grow with us as we begin new marketing efforts.

Project Size:

  • $1.5M - $15M (Average $3M - $5M)

Position: Purchasing Agent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage negotiations and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Oversee the bidding process and evaluate selections on materials.
  • Handle change orders and ensure accurate documentation and communication.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure all purchasing activities align with project goals and timelines.
  • Maintain detailed records of purchases, inventory, and deliveries.

Company Culture: We are in a phase of cultural renewal, emphasizing a shift back to incentive-based performance. We seek team members who are willing to go the extra mile, value hard work, and are motivated by the opportunity to earn bonuses through excellent performance. Our goal is to attract dynamic, forward-thinking individuals who align with our innovative approach, steering clear of those set in their ways.
