What do we need?
We are seeking a Development Operations Specialist to join our team and manage donor and supporter data, enhancing our fundraising, narrative building and systems change strategies.
Responsibilities:
- CRM Management: Oversee and maintain our Salesforce (and other future) CRM systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date donor and supporter records.
- Gift Processing & Acknowledgement: Enter cash and In-Kind gifts and process acknowledgements in Salesforce as part of the gift entry chain of support. Ensure the timely acknowledgement of gifts given to the organization, including creating action paths for gift officers and generating thank you letters.
- Prospect Research: Identify potential donors for gift officer engagement and keep gift officers informed about potentials for increased donor engagement.
- Data Migration & Integrity: Lead the migration of donation data from external platforms into our main CRM, ensuring data integrity and enhancing fundraising and strategies, performing cleanup processes to improve reporting accuracy.
- Grant Management: Develop and manage CRM-based grants management strategies, enabling the organization to track deadlines, forecast budgets, and report on fundraising progress.
- Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards for institutional and individual giving and base-building efforts, providing insights to support organizational goals.
- Training and Support: Train and support non-technical staff on data-related processes and tools, enhancing their capacity to utilize data effectively in their work.
- Project Planning: Contribute to project planning efforts, ensuring data and technology projects align with organizational objectives and timelines.
- Fundraising Support: Assist with independent revenue generation efforts, including fundraising drives, peer-to-peer fundraising and base-building campaigns, and individual giving initiatives.
Pay and Benefits:
- $27.50 - $30.25 hourly
- Full-Time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Four Years of Experience.
- Salesforce experience required.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with donor CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable).
- Data Management: Proven track record in managing and cleaning large datasets, improving data quality, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Fundraising Experience: Background in supporting fundraising and/or membership campaigns, including data analysis and strategy development.
- Relational Communication: Experience with and ability to communicate with supports directly when needed, consistent with the organization's values and goals.
- Project Management: Ability to plan and execute data and technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet organizational needs.
- Training and Facilitation: Experience in training and supporting non-technical staff, improving their understanding and use of data tools and processes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to support organizational goals.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Compensation details: 27.5-30.25 Hourly Wage
