What are we looking for in our Business Analyst?

Our client, a large healthcare provider, is seeking a Business Analyst on a remote basis.

Contract - W2

Pay Range: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour DOE

Fully Remote

DESCRIPTION

The National Regulatory Implementation team (responsible for implementing and managing CMS regulatory requirements), is searching for a Contractor/Business Analyst required to perform tasks associated with implementing updated requirements for the ACA's 1557 Notice, a document that enforces for members and providers key rights including non-discrimination and availability of language assistance. The 1557 Notice was introduced in 2016 and updates to the regulation require edits to the Notice's language in order to remain compliant as of 2025. In parallel, the Notice will require other, additional edits to ensure compliance with separate regulations, such as CMS Final Rule.

Duties

  • Driving the process for updates to the Notice, including all regulation-required edits
  • Routing the Notice to print vendors and to translation vendors as necessary
  • Securing appropriate internal sign-off
  • Posting the updated, compliant Notice to portals and pushing it to print
  • Additionally, the resource will work with C&S markets to capture any market-specific nuances and ensure the market-specific Notices are pushed through the same update, approval, post process and available for use.
  • The resource will be responsible for documenting the end-to-end process for 1557 Notices, so this process can be moved to a long-term business owner.
  • Lastly, the resource will focus on other regulatory-based work in progress and in need of interim support.

Experience/Skills Desired

  • Proficient in PDF editing, Excel, and Word,
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of CMS and Medicaid regulatory processes
  • Project management skills
