Assistant Controller

This role will be responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial analysis, while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting deadlines.
  • Oversee account reconciliations, accruals, and reserves in accordance with GAAP.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions, including payables and receivables, ensuring proper reconciliation and elimination.
  • Provide support for daily treasury operations such as processing wires, checks, and cash reporting.
  • Partner with the finance team to improve and standardize the closing process, account reconciliations, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare audit schedules and provide analysis to support the year-end audit process.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members by setting expectations and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Delegate responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience.
