Location: Shelby Township, MI 48315

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

Job Description Overview: The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating customer service resources to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This role works closely with the Call Center and Customer Service Supervisor to address customer requests and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate customer service resources to meet customer needs and maintain service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Call Center and Customer Service Supervisor to ensure prompt and effective response to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Review customer service requests to ensure all necessary information and resources are in place for successful service delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Spare Parts team to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials for service projects.
  • Update customer and internal systems on scheduling changes and service request status.
  • Dispatch customer service resources based on customer requirements and availability.
  • Follow up with customers after service visits to ensure their needs were met and address any outstanding issues.
  • Maintain ownership of service requests until completion.
  • Work closely with the Service Supervisor to optimize resource utilization.
  • Adhere to quality standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform warehouse tasks as needed, including forklift operation, cleaning, and organization of PM and tool kits.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Must be physically capable of performing warehouse tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
