Job description

Entech Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various mechanical, HVAC, and electrical equipment throughout our manufacturing facility. This is a contract position on 1st shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect and listen to machines for malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access problem areas.
• Replace light bulbs throughout the building and parking lot.
• Test equipment operation after repairs.
• Repair broken parts.
• Move office walls and furniture.
• Perform light maintenance on company vehicles and Hi-Lo's.
• Maintain the building (e.g., fix windows, doors, floors).
• Perform light maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Inspect overhead cranes daily.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, including wearing PPE and completing mandatory training.
• Follow quality standards and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment with loud noise levels
• Potential exposure to chemicals and hazardous materials

Pay open around $27/hr.
