Job Description
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
- Handle facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and contracted maintenance.
- Clean, inspect, calibrate, and replace parts as needed to maintain HVAC systems and equipment at optimal performance levels.
- Record readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Comply with safety and departmental policies regarding hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal.
- Conduct periodic checks on tool and instrument inventory.
- Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety in work areas, recognizing and proposing methods to eliminate safety hazards.
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- EPA Universal Certification.
