Job description
As an IT Network Engineer at Masco Corporation, you will have the unique opportunity to focus on planning the network implementation, determining physical and logical layouts, and installing, configuring, and maintaining data and voice networks. You will play a crucial role in meeting end user needs by ensuring the uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of the networks managed within established budgets and operational guidelines. Your exceptional skills will be put to use as you determine and diagram the physical and logical layout of the network, documenting the communication protocols and type of service/application for each segment.
Responsibilities:

Automate routine tasks using scripting and basic computer programs
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Abilities Required:
Understanding of Cisco, Aruba, related platforms, and adjacent technologies
Proficient understanding and hands-on experience with network tools for monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing infrastructure
Comprehensive knowledge of the interrelationships between network and security equipment
Familiarity with network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, etc.

Knowledge of all components of an enterprise technical architecture

Credentials and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience
Minimum of five years of experience in network architecture
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends
Additional Role Requirements:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and future development of all physical and virtual networking infrastructure supporting the Masco Corporate locations.
Design, deploy, patch, maintain, and manage network equipment for multiple environments
Maintain appropriate redundancy architecture
Interact with all areas of IT and other business functions to architect and maintain a stable platform
