The Controls Engineer will:


Design & Develop: Create and implement control programs for advanced electrical machinery and systems.


Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate controls into overall system designs.


Test & Validate: Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure optimal performance of control systems.


Optimize: Develop, visualize, and refine PLC processes to ensure maximum system efficiency.


Diagnose & Maintain: Identify faults and perform necessary maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.


Train: Educate internal and external customers on the proper use and maintenance of PLC systems.


Support: Provide top-notch customer service and technical support to both internal and external clients.


Project Manage: Adhere to project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful completion.


Travel: Visit customer facilities to install, maintain, and upgrade software and hardware as needed, up to 25%.



A qualified Controls Engineer will have:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in automated controls engineering.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, with experience in Studio 5000, RS Logix 500, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.

  • Specialized Knowledge: Strong understanding of ladder logic, electrical schematics, and mechanical systems.

  • Expertise: Familiarity with Motion and Safety-Over-Ethernet.
